Hi everyone,

I have some simple questions about H2. If anyone has a good fresh-starter document on h2, please share with the community =) My questions are;
  1.  Can someone explain me, what is difference between embedded DB and in-memory DB?
  2.  H2 creates a mv.db file on my user directory, so that means my persistent data is open to everyone?
  3. Only techniques to persist data and read it after boot is Backupping?

Hi,

As for 1, I suggest to read Wikipedia:

2. + 3.: No for both. I suggest to read the documentation.

Regards,
Thomas
