H2 in embedded mode in web application

Is it save to use H2 in embedded mode in web application? I mean if(or not) there are some potential concurrency issues when two users issue database updates(different records) at the same time or so ??

Quite a few people do that already and it works fine.
The database performs locking internally to make sure the updates are synchronized.
