Position Overview

The Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive data visualization and business intelligence solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate reporting requirements into scalable, secure, and insightful dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and analyze data visualization and reporting requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver actionable business insights.
• Build robust data models using Power BI Desktop, ensuring compatibility with enterprise data warehouse standards.
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models to support scalable reporting and analytics needs.
• Implement advanced DAX calculations and measures to support complex business logic and data transformations.
• Create custom visualizations and configure Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure, role-based data access.
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications and platforms to enhance business functionality.
• Partner with application developers and data engineers to design optimized data pipelines for reporting.
• Test formulas, calculations, and visualizations to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Document development processes, methodologies, data models, and report logic to support governance and future enhancements.
