Position: Microsoft Power BI Developer / Data Analyst
Client Location: Chicago, IL
Work Location: Remote Work
Work Hours: Part Time (20 Hours per week approx.)
Duration: 6+ Months

Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Reduced backlog of intake requests.
- High-performance, user-friendly Power BI Dashboards.
- Primary data sources identification. transformations, extraction logic, and integration requirements.
- Documentation of data models and business logic.
- Ad-hoc analysis and reports to support critical decision-making.
- Transferred knowledge to the Business Intelligence Team and Business stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Must have 10+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer, Data Analyst, or BI Consultant with a strong portfolio or BI Projects.
- At least 5 - 7 years of expertise in defining strategic metrics (OKRs/KPIs) and translating business requirements into technical BI solutions.
- Must have expertise in full lifecycle implementation skill and also Customer approach/facing independently
- Should have experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Data source identification, ETL processes, and data modelling.
- Must have experience in Banking sector like Investment/Wealth Management/Treasury & Brokerage services.
- Deep knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Must have Advanced Proficiency in writing complex SQL Joins, Subqueries, and Views.
- 5+ years of strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, visualization best practices).
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ability to process large amounts of data, identify patterns, and draw evidence-based insights.
- Capacity to identify root causes of issues and develop innovative, effective solutions.
- Evaluating information and questioning assumptions to provide fresh, unbiased perspectives.
- Ability to work independently and deliver a defined scope of work.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems.
- Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate preferred
