我反而觉得 Lennert 的贡献十分大。

systemd 某程度上是重新统一了 Linux 的 init system，而且速度也比以前的 SysV init 好。

PulseAudio 改进了多声卡多声道的支持，也可以独立控制每一个应用程序的音量，他好像最近也不多鸟这个项目，交到其他人手上。

dbus 是 Linux 统一的消息机制，不好的话也不会有很多 Linux 程序在用。

HAL 貌似被 udev、udisk 那一套东西替代了。。

如果他的东西有很多问题，那么红帽都会立马辞退他了。

如果把 Linux 桌面的失败归咎于一个人，我觉得十分的不公平。

倒是想想 Ubuntu 和 Mint 们，有事没事就 Fork 一个分支，我不觉得他们会对 Linux 桌面有什么好贡献。

一半一半，个人倾向支持systemd和dbus，pulse和Hal倒是从来不喜欢。但是如果这样子去指责一个开发者，不负责任而且毫无意义。

至少觉得没有更好的替代品也只能用着了，像xwindow这种拖后腿的货迟早有人出来砍掉重练的
