Hey folks,

Getting tickets is going to be very challenging this year- statistically speaking.
I have sent many of you texts about this, if I had you cell numbers.

Twice as many people signed up for the ticket sale this year than last year.
NO SHIT!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Be ready to go 5 minutes before the sale. Hell, I am ready to go now.

If you have yet to also set up an account or update it at TICKETFLY (the company processing the credit card transactions), then do so NOW!!! Every precious second counts.
Ticketfly had my email address but no other details. It took me 5 minutes to get a new password and then fill in my home and billing address. DO NOT WAIT TO DO THIS DURING THE SALE PROCESS.

This is what the Burning Man email about ticket sales said yesterday: "During the purchase process you will be prompted to either log in or create a new account in the Ticketfly system. You can create your account now or during the sale process. You may already have an account if you've ever bought a ticket to another event through Ticketfly, but please make sure that the email address on your Ticketfly account matches your Burner Profile."

May the force be with us. EVERYBODY BUY 2 TICKETS please. I will pay for every additional ticket our group buys immediately if you only have money for one. I can paypal you the cash. There are several people that will need tickets that are not available (like possibly StevO, Heidi, Tesla (in transit), etc).

That was heartbreaking. Got in less than 5 minutes after 12 was in the queue for over an hour but sold out before I could buy...so I'm in the market...

My original plan was to have someone hold my beeper, but when you're dealing with a work situation that involves APD, security, the house supervisor, your director, manager, supervisor, and your CNA so that you have to ask another supervisor to pass some meds to another parient, and round up four other coworkers to potty an obese patient and help tranfer them to a stretcher for a procedure, it's impossible to try to get a ticket. Need to have a non~coworker attempt to help in future:)

Jina, it was perfectly reasonable we weren't included in the direct sales this time..... We were on the directed sales and took advantage of it last year and had most everyone drop out and sell their tickets to others not on our crew, and then we didn't bring the GQ out. It's understandable they would not want people to take advantage of the privilege. While sucks for us now, we just have to make it happen the old fashioned way :-) I found a number of tickets for people last year and heard of many more. So yes, let us all know if you find more!! Post on the list when confirmed and every one be looking out!

Hey this boat needs funds. I have been talking to Salvage Station about a Gypsy Queen fundraiser party hosted by us & the Love Bus. It might be April 18 or 25. They won't open to the public until sometime in May. The idea is to gather as many art installations as we can, have our own DJs play using Love Bus as a sound system. This place is like the Bywater on steroids. On site parking for 400 cars, fireplaces all along the river. It is shaping up BEAUTIFUL. This is an idea in development but I think we can do an awesome FUNdraiser event. ~ Stand by ~ Jeff
