Hi mate. Its the latest version on serato. Ive gone through all the settings inside serato and everything seems as it should be. I must say that in the prime 4 screen the player does run if I play a song in serato, so somethings just not right. I know its probably something really simple but what? as I say ive done (i think) everything.
If you want to do this (with both applications running on the same computer) then you could (there are more options I'm sure)] take a stereo feed from a output on your DJ mixer (Tape Out/headphone Out) and plug it into your Audio Interface. Then Set up an Audio Track within Logic and set its input to which ever inputs you have used on your interface.
No need for soundflower as Serato has its own audio interface. The biggest question would be what Mac you're using? Anything 2007 on should be up to the task but you should mention what you're running this on to make sure you have enough ram & HD speed to not have dropouts or affect Serato's performance.
you should be able to just switch your audio preferences in logic to have your SL box as the input, create an audio track and record. I've been doing it like that to record records into logic so I'd imagine it would work for a set as well, just make sure you're getting the master out mix from serato..

When you first launch Serato DJ Pro, a [BUY/ACTIVATE] icon may be displayed in the Online panel.
Those who use DJM-S9 do not have to activate the unit or buy the license.
If you connect DJM-S9 to Serato DJ Pro, you can use the software without buying the license or activating the unit.
DJM-S9 works with other MIDI-compatible software besides Serato DJ Pro, by assigning MIDI message. Please refer to the list of MIDI message to find mapping values of all buttons and knobs. To assign MIDI message to all software function, please refer to your manufacturers' software manual.
When using this unit as a controller for operating MIDI-compatible software other than Serato DJ Pro, change the setting to use software other than Serato DJ Pro at the utility settings. For details, please refer to the "Using DJ software other than Serato DJ Pro" within Operating Instructions.
Please do not run multiple DJ Software on your computer at the same time. When switching from one DJ software to use another, please turn the DJM-S9 power off and then power back on after software switch has been completed.
