Apostille documents for US Citizen having OCI Card

  Hello,

I am a Company Secretary, and I have one query which I am not sure where to raise, hence writing to you.  Please forward it to the concerned department.

One of my clients wants to incorporate an LLP and wants to become a designated partner.  She has a US Passport, but she is a Resident of India, having an Aadhar Card, PAN Card and OCI Card. 

Do we need to Apostille all her documents, or will only Notarised documents do for the incorporation of LLP?

Please guide.

Depends the place of signing the docs if he or she is in india at the time of signing the documents, no need of apostille other wise yes.

SHE CAN SIGN WITH A OCI CARD   IN WHICH IT SHOWS SHE WAS IN INDIA AS ON DATE OF SIGNING . PL ATTACH OCI CARD WITH DATE OF ARRIVAL AND A LETTER SHOWING THAT SHE WAS IN INDIA AND BASED  OCI CARD , SHE HAS SIGNED IN FRONT OF YOU
