Auditor appointment

Hi, 

In case of change in the constitution of the auditor from proprietor to partnership firm, what is the procedure to be followed for the companies for which the auditor was appointed as proprietor for 5 years.

In my view proprietor should resign. Appoint firm in casual vacancy and then regularise in next general meeting.

dear sir

there is change in Firm Registration Number and Change in PAN - both are crucial information in the balance sheet and AOC 4.

so the only option is Proprietor will resign and file ADT3 and company shall appoint firm as auditor and file ADT 1

Yes I did the same filed adt3 and then appoint in Casual Vacancy and the reappoint for 5 years in AGM
