As you know, most of these Chinese scooters run on air ventilation and
the engines get very hot. Remember one thing, your not riding a
motorcycle (which cools on water). These 50cc, 125cc, 150cc scooters
get really hot.

So if you ride your bike for short distances, well thats fine. But if
your a hard scooter rider and or take your scooter for long rides.
Then you need to find a way to keep your scooter as cool as possible.
Ever since gasoline price have sky rocketed: more people are riding
there scooters to get to work.
If your changing your engine oil frequently (1000/1500 miles) that's
great.
