I don't know if anything like this exists, but I thought I would upload this. I created a circuit which converts a comparator output into 4 bits in binary (4 redstone lines either off or on) and one which converts 4 bits in binary into a comparator output.
The grey wool just wires the two circuits together so you can see what he circuits are doing. The black piece of wool all the way on the right is the input for the first circuit (there is a item frame with a torch on the other side which is producing a signal strength of 5). As you can see, the circuit which converts to binary is outputting 1010, the binary for 5. The circuit on the left is outputting a signal strength of 5, converted back from binary.
Nice! Looks really complicated! I need this myself. Does it output all 4 bits at the same time or in serial? I'm on this project -discussion/redstone-discussion-and/redstone-creations/2581001-pure-redstone-flat-qwerty-keyboard-semi-analog
The circuit outputs to all 4 lines at once, however I've noticed that when I change the signal it doesn't usually change all the output lines at exactly the same time. If you wanted to use this, I think you might have to figure out the delay that the circuit takes, which I haven't calculated and lock the output until you can be certain the circuit is finished computing. I hope that answers your question.
I like complicated redstone stuff (even if I don't understand it). But can you explain what A Encoder and Decoder is? And what do people mean when they talk about Binary stuff in minecraft (0's and 1's?)
Edit: ok, so the first part is right I believe, the outputs update in serial. However I am not sure how long it takes to update (although it is definitely not 1 tick per bit like I said earlier). I'm also not sure whether it takes the same amount of time to decode for any signal strength or whether the time depends on the specific strength being passed in.
The ME Pattern Encoder is used to write crafting recipes onto ME Blank Patterns which can then be placed into a ME Pattern Provider or ME Interface to automatically craft items on request through an ME Access Terminal.
ME Encoded Assembler Patterns can be inserted into the ME Pattern Encoder to edit an existing recipe without having to start from scratch. This also lets players use the ME Pattern Encoder to copy Patterns from a ME Encoded Assembler Pattern to new a ME Blank Pattern.
With version rv10.h players can store up to a full stack of Blank Patterns in the encoder, and it fully supports automation. Encoded patterns can be removed from the top or bottom, and blank patterns can be added from the side. Players can also trigger encoding by pulsing the block with redstone, making it possible to set up a pattern copying system.
inn my about pc my system says 'p104-100/pcie/sse2" and my gpu runs an overclock default. so it can handle vr for sure. and my old 16.04 setup could run nvenc with this card, so i think it should be possible here.
i do not know how to send screen shots, but nvenc comes up as an option in obs, and ffmpeg -encoders 2>/dev/null grep nvenc gets all 4 nvenc versions. my prime profile is set to nvidia ondemand still nvenc is broken
If OBS/ffmpeg are correctly installed, only libcuda is needed on the driver side, which gets installed with it.
How did you install OBS, did you use a snap/flatpack version or the ppa?
Please run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root and attach the resulting nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file to your post.
what does that mean? i dont think it understood the command, also why is it making my games run extremely well? i doubt that an igpu should be able to run god of war and minecraft maxed out shaders at 60 fpsthere is an hdmi port physically on the card btw. nothing in it cause it is flashed with a gigabyte 8gb bios(gigabyte p104 has no port) but msi card. i had to change out the bracket to aceess the port. got these pre flashed.

I used to render fine out of Premiere and AFX, no 3rd application needed. I basically now wait until ME loads to open a dialog box that gives me the exact options as I had before. I used to never touch media encoder, what...does it encode with more gusto or something? It really feels like a giant pile of you know.
Your answer is NOT correct - you cannot export to mp4 using the Render Queue - for any decent kind of compression options you are forced to use the bumbhole media encoder which seems to want to make my mac's fan's accelerate to the speed of light.
We dont seem to have the same options in AE render queue for mp4. This is a real issue. Every time on a job, with a tight dealine I can gurantee AME will cause serious grief. Everytime. No matter what version 201, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 always problems. . If Im on my mac pro or PC or macbook pro. The adobe software when working is fantastic. But it hardly ever works. This is really disgusting from big corporation, that shows no care for its customers. I have spent nearly 10k on this software. Its the most flakey unreliable and stressfully part of my job. Please listen adobe. Show us some stability!
I haven't used it myself yet - I just learnt of it cos I use two of their other products (rubber hose & overlord) - but it looks promising - might be worth a try if you find yourself exporting to mp4 a lot.
I think that's nailed it. As Adobe software really needs to be redesigned from scratch to take advantage of the current hardware. The lack of GPU integration and slow bloats feeling is just so stressful as a creative.
Completely agree (though I'm not rocking as great a hardware set up as you!). Adobe Illustrator for ipad is much more limited than that of the desktop version but the features it does have it does a lot better than the desktop version which, like you say, needs updating from the ground up. It's frustrating. Glad you found the battle axe plug in interesting : )
So many crashes and lack of error code explanation going from AE to AME. AME Crashes and throws H.264 errors in different places all the time on different movies. We have had to revert back to rendering in AE which is slowing us down. The point of AME is to allow work to stack up and render out to allow production to continue... currently failing on this.
SO many fixes to try that all do not help. It should just work for the money we pay for it. We are all capable of using the software to be creative.... we should not need to be hung up on fixing software.
Same problems here, trying to export a simple 22-second video in AE to mp4. No way to export this. Render que gives me a 2,5 gig video that looks like Minecraft, exporting via ME doesn't work because I can't even import a project. Haven't seen such an annoying program in a while. Are there any alternatives?
So I have been playing modded Minecraft 1.11.2 lately and I picked up the mod Refined Storage. I'm pretty new to the mod and was wondering if its more beneficial to use the Processing Pattern Encoder rather than using the Patter Grid, since using the Pattern Grid uses power and the encoder doesn't. So i'm curious to know, what is the difference between using the Pattern Grid and using the Processing Pattern Encoder in Refined Storage to make patterns?
