Circa next Friday! Free of charge :). I'll be turning in the paper work tonight/tomorrow and will give additional details once it's processed.

Hey everyone, update on the happy hour:

Nnenna (she's copied on this email) and I ran around last week to get (unnecessary) paperwork turn in for our happy hour. Thankfully, Circa has agreed to allow us to hold the HH there free of charge. However, we were unable to secure a RAM (responsible alcohol manager) in time (according to BS GWU laws that shouldn't apply to graduate students, every alcohol serving event needs one RAM per 50 people).
Long story short, technically we have not been approved for the HH as far as GWU is concerned. Meaning we cannot advertise it as a GHN/GWU organization event. However, I'm in the mood for some drinks with people I happen to be on the of GHN with and we happen to be inviting people who just happen to have been at our first GHN meeting (coincidence right?!).
So I saw we go for it. We already have the space reserved and as long as we don't advertise it as a GHN event, we are good. We could say we're doing an informal HH just to meet and get to know our new potential members.

It's up to you all. Let me know what you think. Either way, I'm going to Circa on Friday to get a drink because this ish was bananas.

Happy Monday :)
