Fwd: Reserve DGH conference room

The large conference room in the Department of Global Health is not available for Mondays at lunch, or during the time we had suggested to have our World AIDS Day Panel. Does anyone have suggestions for...

1) a different place to hold the event?
2) a different day that would work?

Also, Stuart/Taylor/Jessica/Lauren, I have now included the newly elected GHN executive board who will also be helping plan this event.

Actually each Monday will have the same schedule because of the standing committee meetings the department holds.

I asked Halley about reserving the larger DGH conference room and she sent me over to you. The Global Health Network is having a World AIDS Day panel/networking luncheon and would like to hold it in the large DGH conference room. We were thinking at lunchtime on November 18. Can you let me know the availability of the conference room?

Hi all,

We have tentatively reserved the EOH conference room for Monday, November 25 from 12-2. It was not available on the 18th. How do we feel about doing it on the 25th? Unless someone has another suggestion for a venue.

I am not sure how that will work out as many folks will be in the Thanksgiving mindset.
What was wrong with space for the previous date we had suggested?

Just that the conference rooms I have tried to book have been reserved already. If you have a suggestion for a good venue, please let me know.

As an update, I have requested either Ross 117 or 217 for November 18th, but have yet to hear back.

Has anyone thought of speakers, or begun to reach out to potential speakers?
