- Congratulations on your new positions! We look forward to working with you the rest of this semester. Here's a list of the new board and their email addresses:

- We are still waiting to hear back from Stephanie about her preference on Treasurer or Communications Chair. Once we hear, if she does not want Treasurer, the new board will have to decide what you'd like to do.

- Start thinking of things you'd like to do with GHN, what you want to add to both the organization and GW/DC

- You can create your own theme for the organization if you want. Ours was networking, and bringing DC in to GW, and GW out to DC.

- Last year, we had technical skills building workshops - like malaria, urban health, etc. It seems that the DGH is doing them now, but perhaps you all can have better communication with the Department.

- Pay attention to deadlines and paperwork - it is important!

- Our department advisor is Professor Black. Unfortunately (with the exception of her, and Halley), we don't think anyone else in DGH knows who we are. We need more Department Liaisoning!

- We are beginning a diaper drive next week.

- We need boxes, so please let us know if you come across a box between now and Monday.

- We will have flyers that we want to put up around Ross.

- World AIDS Day Panel Luncheon

- Date: November 18 for lunch

- Let us know if you have suggestions for panelists

- We are partnering with PHSA

- We would like to see this kind of event continue with GHN, but that will be up to you!

- There is a mental health event this weekend - contact Edward for more information

- Spread around the word about the Men's Public Health group - contact Edward for more information.

- You should now have access to our Google Group (look out for an email and accept the invitation) and our Google Drive, as soon as Google stops misbehaving.

- The GHN address is g...@email.gwu.edu. The password is Wash123!

- For clarification, you are now part of the GHN Executive Board and will attend our meetings and help with events. This is so you can get used to your roles and the organization before you officially take over at Thanksgiving/end of semester.

Like I said in the meeting, I work in the Center For Student Engagement and my cube is right next to the financial person and once I "trade" organizations with another co worker I'm sure our cubes will be just as close. If we need forms/things signed I can get them done pretty quickly. I can be the treasurer for the time being/until we find someone else if that works for everyone? 

But I'm sure there are people who would like to be the treasurer. But do we have to do another survey or can we just suggest someone?

Feel free to think about this and reply over the next few days, but what is your preference between having the treasurer position absorbed into another position just for our term vs. trying to find someone else to take up the position? If anyone is interested in taking up the treasurer position, let me know - or if you have a strong opinion either way let me know!!!!! Worst case, I can take it up myself, but give me your input.
