how do I set new_session to false?

It is overwriting my jsession cookie and logging me out of my app. Can I set new_session to false to avoid this? Thanks.

Is there a way to configure it so no new JSESSION cookie is created? It is overwriting my session and logging me out of my app. Thanks.
