Serialization problem on the server side

Hi,

I’m trying out  GwtRpcCommLayer since it seems quite a cool project.

The example works well for me, but when I try using GwtRpcCommLayer with a more complex server, I run into problems:

Namely the GWT code on the server side receives serialized Java, instead of serialized gwt even though I’ve extended GwtRpcCommLayerServlet.

 

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Null-

Indeed, the code sends serialized java, not serialized "gwt" as in the browser case.  This is expected.  You should be using the servlet included in the lib.

However, the project is now defunct as I've abandoned it.  Good luck!
