I'm trying it now, using the same successful setup I have on a
fileserver.

It is not going through, and that's about as detailed as I can get.
Android does not complain and I'm not even sure how I can force it to,
as I am a relative newbie to the Android debugger

Getting warmer I think:

com.seguedevelopment.gwtrpccommlayer.client.GwtRpcClientSideProxy.executeRequest

I'll be damned, IT WORKS.

A few things to keep in mind:
need INTERNET permission
Android has DNS problems with named hosts, so if you get an
UnknownHostException it may be due to that

I am in awe. Thank you so much for this library!

Hi Dan -

Thanks for the posting, I'm in the process of create some
documentation specific to Android.
Please feel to pass along any additional information so I can include
it.

thanks in advance
/jeff

Jeff, really the Unknown Host Exception was the only big hiccup.
Apparently some people have been catching that exception and retrying
a few times.

One minor note:
Android complains about the IOException, but as far as I can tell it
just pulls that out and keeps going.

Other than that, it worked out of the box! Pretty sweet.
