Whats the timeline for a GWT 1.5 version?

Hi Riyaz,

It will be a few days for the official release. If you are in a hurry
then you could always grab the latest source from trunk in subversion.
It has been upgraded to 1.5 already.

No plans for that yet. But I will update the screenshots today. Please
note that the distribution contains working sample code.

Hello Sander

Thanks for the reply.

Could you tell me what IDE or build environment you are using? I'm
using Netbeans but it does not seem to be Netbeans or Eclipse or the
standard GWT project type. Command line ?

Hi Riyaz,

I am using Eclipse with the Cypal Studio (FKA googlipse) plugin. I
didn't include the project file because everyone uses a different
environment anyway. Instead I included the ant build file used for
creating the distribution. It includes the .jar file you can include
in your project as well.

Hi Sander

Is there a reason why Resources is not included in gwtlib.jar ?
Resources can act as the default styles/images for gwtlib. Inclusion
can greatly increase the convenience of a user using gwtlib.jar -
widgets usable immediately with default styles.

Hi Riyaz,

Unless absolutely required for the proper working of the library, in
my view resources do not belong in there. I believe it should be
enough that an example stylesheet is included in the distribution.

btw, I didn't have time to update the screenshots yet. That will have
to wait for this weekend.

Hi Sander

Could you include the project files for Eclipse/Cypal ? I cannot get
the project to run on Eclipse/Cypal. I was thinking of joining this
project - do some development for the dynamic table widget. I like the
design you have chosen. Renderers, UI and Model objects clearly laid
out.

Maybe I'll persuade you to include the Resources module yet :)
