As much as I love GWTEventService for its simplicity (gets the job done) I'm concerned about the lack of activity. I see that the issue list is only getting longer and no code has been committed since the 1.2 release. Particularly I'm concerned about http://code.google.com/p/gwteventservice/issues/detail?id=46 because I observe the same behavior.
