Announcement of GWTEventService 1.2 and other changes

Hello GWTEventService-Community,

GWTEventService 1.2 will be released by the next days as a release
candidate (RC) and the final version of GWTEventService 1.2 will
follow soon after that (probable about 2 weeks later, depending on
possibly found issues).

GWTEventService 1.2 contains a lot of new features which were often
requested by the community. Some examples are support for multiple /
shared sessions, streaming (as an alternative connection strategy),
automatic reconnect, extensions to add events directly from the client
side, etc.. It also solves some issues. The next versions will be
planned with less features to increase the release cycles. The
complete changelog of GWTEventService 1.2 can be viewed here:

Together with the release of GWTEventService 1.2 the project owner of
GWTEventService will be changed. I have recently set up a company
which will become the new project owner. This is just an
organizational change and will probably not cause any noticeable
changes for the community (the license will remain the same, the
package names will rename the same, etc.).

I hope the development of GWTEventService is to your satisfaction.
