GWT, Google App Engine, Google API - Need current user info.

I am writing a GWT App that integrates with Google APIs. I am using
AuthSub. That all seems to work really well for me. My challenge is
that I need to get access to some basic info about the currently
logged in user (namely their domain). I have tried using the
UserService API, but so far no luck.
