Hi,

Version 1 was intended as a base release, that is, it includes support
for all the core Opera Unite functionality. With V1 released, it's
time to extend this base functionality with some GWT-Unite specific
features. What features would you like to see in V2?

Current suggests are :

- Server side support for GWT RPC
- Support for JSP style pages

Any other suggestions?

Hi,

since the web proxy application doesn't work as expected and javer is
not responding/updating the app, it would be nice to add method/way to
create/dispatch request to a localhost server. The demo application
for this feature could be the web server proxy :) Maybe called the
other name.

If this is possible right now, pls tell me.

Thanks, although the gwt-unite libraries aren't really designed as a
fully fledged application.

Of course, it's possible to build a proxy application using Gwt-Unite,
however, my personal opinion is that this isn't a good use of
OperaUnite. If you have a server running 24/7, then why not just set
up your network in order to allow direct access, or better still, set
up an Apache server to proxy to your webserver.

gwt-unite is an framework, I understand that. It can't be judged as an fully fledged application. I was just asking for an demo app :)

I would use opera unite as a proxy for my 24/7 server (allowing me to use java), because I don't have a public IP (and I dont have access to the providing router). However, javer recently posted another version of his application, and he is now waiting for approval. so I hope my suggestion for demo app is not actual any more.

I am looking forward to gwt-unite 2.0. Keep it going
Thanks
