Still a viable project?

We just came across this project and it looks *great*. I'm curious, though... there's been no commits or other activity since early 2014. 

Is this project still maintained? If not, has someone else created a fork that is maintained? 

There is an issue filed (https://github.com/gwt-test-utils/gwt-test-utils/issues/68) indicating that the project doesn't currently support GWT 2.7. Before I go spend time just validating what others may have already done, is that issue correct? Has anyone come up with a set of steps to work-around  and/or prepared a pull request? (I've Googled around and not found anything...)
