to GWT, Spring and Hibernate Reference Web Application
I started this project on Google Code and Google Groups because I was
interested in creating a GWT, Spring and Hibernate Reference Web
Application. Since the time I created this project, I have become very
overwhelmed with my work on other projects. I have also been very
surprised about the high level of interest in this project.

Today, I went through the list of members on this group and have added
every member with an @gmail.com address as a project member on Google
Code. What I would like to know is this, is someone interested in
stepping up as the owner of this project? If so, please reply to this
post with some information about yourself and why you would be a good
fit for the owner of this project.

Members, please read the posts of those interested in becoming the
project owner. If you feel strongly that the person should (or
shouldn't) be the project owner, please respond to their post with
your thoughts. Please make sure it is clear who you are responding to,
e.g. "I think <name here> would be a good fit for the project owner
because..."

After there has been a chance for some discussion, I will decide who
to assign the role of project owner to. Also, it's possible for their
to be more than one project owner. Thank you for your interest in this
project. Hopefully once we've settle on a new project owner we can see
some work started on this project!

Hello Bradley,

I'm interested in being promoted as the owner of the project.

I'm a Java programmer with 9 years of experience, 11 years of experience as web developer and I was an early adopter of technologies such as Servlets, JSP, JSF and recently GWT.

I've been working with this mixture of three technologies since last September and I have a medium-size project working with this approach. I've shared a little/early fragment of that application in the group, and I would like to fix it to start with this new effort.

If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Rodrigo López-Guzmán.

Rodrigo, it sounds like you'd be a great fit and have a lot of
experience with this technology. I'll keep an eye on this group for
the next few days to see if anyone else steps up and is interested. If
I don't hear from anyone else soon, I'll go ahead an add you as a
project owner. Like I said, there can always be more than one project
owner!

Thanks,
Bradley
