What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. We recently upgraded to IE8 in our company and from then on we are not
able to edit the text in the editor area

Edit text. Seeing a read only mode

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Hello,

we have the same problem.
The editor looks like read only. We can not write any text in it.
We can change the view between source and WYSIWYG. In source view we can
change the text but in WYSIWYG not.

We use editor-0.1.4.jar with IE 8.0.6001.18702 and java version 1.7.0_09

The project is really not active (consider http://ckeditor.com/)... unless
you want to volunteer some time.
