Using gwt-rest with external web services

hi,
I am working on a project built in gwt but it is supposed to
communicate with external servers that uses restful frame work (java
version) now i have a very important question:
how can i use gwt-rest client to bypass the same origin policy
limitation? can i use this api to access different origin, please if
anyone has a clue about this tell me,thanks in advance.

Do you do any server-side development? I mean do you control the
server environment? If yes, you can always use your server-side code
as a proxy. It's not a perfect solution (latency etc.) but it's safer.
