Is GWTP Still Maintained?

Hi,

We are working on a large scale application using GWT/GWTP. However, we are not very sure if we should continue with it, given the fact that the GWTP repository looks stale with no recent commits or releases.

Is GWTP still maintained or internally used by ArcBees?

Just saw that the acrbees.com website no longer uses GWT. This is a little concerning, and before proceeding with GWTP we wanna be sure if we should be switching to other framework, if its no longer going to be maintained/open sourced/sponsored by ArcBees.

it looks like the website is done (at this moment), it is really a
shame that people just abandoning this cool stuff.

by the way, haven't you tried errai framework? maybe it is a way
better solution!

this looks like an improved version.

I have been using gwt and gwtp for almost 2 years.

Christian, could you give more details please:

- What's on the roadmap for GWTP? 

- When can we expect the next minot / major version? 

- What are the plans for replacing GIN with another DI framework like Dagger?

We're working with GWTP for many years now and it's a perfect solution. Right now we prepare for GWT 3.0 and try to get rid of deferred binding. The only thing which is left is GIN. So I'm wondering what are your plans moving GWTP forward?

I'm a bit worried that you shift all of your dev towards AI and that GWTP moves into maintenance mode.
