SAMPLES NEEDED TO BUILD APPLICATION IN GWT 2.5 AND GOOGLE MAPS VERSION 3

Hi to all,
                 Now  i am using in my GWT application Google maps version 2 and its working fine.But i found it is deprecated and it is available until may 19th 2013.so i would like to build my application in Google Maps version 3 so could you please give me guidelines to develop it.I searched in Google but it shows the project status in alpha.
