Hello together,
i wonder if there is an ongoing development on this project, cause i
would have a little proposal to enhance the project.
I use the project and really like the very direct use of SVG provided
by the project. But there is a little thing, i really do'nt
understand.
I encountered this problem using the Arc class in my project.
SVG provides the possibility to use double values for the x- and y-
radius, which is really of need to receive a clean representation of
arcs.
But this project, only allows int values, which aren't really accurat
enough. Is there any reason for choosing this less precise values ?
On a short look inside the code, i can't see any reason for this.
It would be really great, if you could change this fact, if there is
no internal reason.
Thanks in advance. I think, i will do a checkout and try this little
change in this time. I will give you an update, if it seems to work.
Best regards, SamReciter

I think that there's a lot of improvements that could be made to gwt-graphics. I'm not sure how active a project it is; there doesn't appear to be an active road map for it, and neither to irc channel nor the mail list appear to be that active.

We've just started using it ourselves as the foundation piece of a project, and I expect that we will shortly be in a position to require feature enhancements to the API. I am not too sure at this stage whether those changes will be reincorporated into the project, or whether we will need to maintain a private fork.

Hi,

GWT Graphics is my hobby project and unfortunately I don't have had time for the project lately. All patches are welcome but you have to keep in mind that both SVG and VML implementations must be provided.

That's good.

Do you have an architectural roadmap in your mind? There are clearly things that could be done to enhance, for instance, shouldn't it be possible to position a group? Do you have time to discuss what improvements you would make if you had the time to make them?

Are you planning to have more committers to the project? Expanding your team size with other opensource contributors may help maintain the project.
