Possible to embed GWT UIObjects inside of gwt-graphics objects?

Greetings folks,

Would it be possible to embed GWT UIObjects inside of gwt-graphics objects?  It seems like SVG has support for embedding standard html...  

The goal here is a generalized canvas concept where some of the objects in the canvas are actually GWT widgets (complete with interaction etc).

Hi all,

I'm interested in the answer to Pete's question, as well. I was
wondering how to place "overlayed" GWT UIObjects on a drawing area,
but embedding them directly into the SVG sounds better to me.

By the way, when I'd like to participate in development of GWT
Graphics, what do I have to do?

I believe embedding native UI objects is not possible. The only way to achieve anything similar is to build your own SVG buttons and provide event handlers to it on your own. It's tricky task to say the least.

Now, overlaying is quite different story as you would only need XY coordinates and Button object (possibly serialized to preserve all the properties?) in order to place it on top of canvas.
