How to fit DrawingArea to the window

Hello,
At the moment we can only specify width and height of the DrawingArea in px.
Why can't I set drawingArea.setWidth("100%") ?
How should I make it 100% size to fit to the browser window?

IIRC, this is due to a limitation in VML.
