Hello,

Great library! i'm trying to implement it on my open source data
historian project here : http://www.nimbits.com so users can create
process control graphics in SVG with realtime sensor data.

this is almost exactly what i need - i just need to have users upload
an existing SVG file and load it up into a panel. Is there a way for a
canvas to load existing svg?

Hi Ben,

Unfortunately there is no such functionality currently.

You'll need to manually parse the SVG files and based on the content, redraw it on the canvas.

SVG files are basically XML files containing instructions on how to draw things.

Just a warning, doing it in realtime is a bit slow.

I agree with Jan. I've got it to work few months back, but was never really satisfied with performance especially with animations of loaded object.
