to Google API Libraries for GWT
There's a GWT library now available for GData. It's similar to the
existing Google API Libraries for GWT in that it sits on top of the
existing Google JS APIs. It's a one-to-one mapping of the GData 1.10
JS library (http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/jsdoc/1.10/index.html)
using overlay types so if you've used GData JS it should be very
familiar.

This project is currently in beta, downloads and samples are
available. If you're interested in playing around with GWT and GData
give this a try and send me your feedback:
http://code.google.com/p/gwt-gdata/

The long term goal is to have a GWT GData library which is up to the
level of the Java/Python GData libraries and further.

There's something very attractive about mixing GWT and GData because
GData provides authentication via AuthSub and capabilities resembling
a database (if can you match your app to one or more of the Google
apps, such as documents, google base, etc).

With GData and GWT in a few minutes you might create an app that has a
user base + authentication + user data storage, without writing any
server-side code. And by mixing GData with other services, you can
create apps that integrate and extend some of the Google systems.

This isn't an official Google API library, i'm actually looking for
project members to help move this project forward, if you have
experience with GWT and/or GData and are excited about this project
let me know.

Thanks
Bobby
