Folks,
I have put up a Donations link for GWT-Ext on the project home page.
The direct link is : http://gwt-ext.googlecode.com/svn/donate.html

As many of you might have already realized, GWT-Ext is a powerful
library and I have put in a lot of effort into building it right and
making it feature complete. GWT-Ext presently has around 320 classes,
65 interfaces and 2650 methods with a lot more new functionality still
to come and this handily surpasses the GWT Widget API's.

I started this project out of my own interest / passion as I believe
that it was this missing link to Java web development nirvana. Based
on a great feedback I received on my blog, I decided to open source it
and make it available to the community. All my work on this project
was done during nights and loong weekends and I plan on continuing to
work on it passionately during my personal time.

I have great plans for this project and it does not stop at 100% Ext
API coverage. If you find GWT-Ext useful I would appreciate a donation
from you / your company. This will help keep development of GWT-Ext
strong and take it to the next level.

As indicated on the donations link, I will be maintaining a running
list of the top 10 donations where you can choose to put in a plug for
your company.

Thanks for reading.

Happy coding,
Sanjiv

Sanjiv - first off, this is a great library and thanks for making it
open source. I have been reading up on GWT and GWT-Ext for about a
month now and have had great success building a really nice prototype
for a financial company that I work for. My colleagues and manager
were zapped. They couldn't believe that its a Web app. I appreciate
the work you have put in and have made a personal donation -
unfortunately my company can't made a "donation". If you had a
commercial license option I could have tried getting the company to
buy a license.
Keep up the good work. I look forward to you completing the remaining
APIs, and of course the GWT-RPC integration.

Thanks Mathias. I'll be resuming my work on the RPC integration and will post an update when I have something available for public consumption.

Sanjiv,

I just made a personal contribution to thank you for your excellent
work so far.
I'm looking to build financial applications using this.
I'm interested in the GWT RPC integration and/or some other way of
pushing realtime updates to the Grid.

Keep up the good work.
