Is the source tree being tagged with versions, such as 1.0.0RC1, or
0.7.1? I did a git svn clone of the repo which normally retrieves
everything including all the branches. It would be nice to be able to
match the released versions to a particular commit point. Thank you.

By default, you only download source code from "http://gwt-ent.googlecode.com/svn/trunk"

If you need branches, I think you need access "http://gwt-ent.googlecode.com/svn/branches"

For now, only one branch there
