Click Connector Widget Plugin Modification

What do I need if I want to modify and compile your plugin please?

To sum up, I would try to make the connector class inherits from the
widget (to acquire the click-ability)

This will not work as the connector is not drawn on the schema. I
tried to make the sections get the double click ability but this does
not work either.

I am a bit stuck.

How can i add text and double click ability to the connector?
