gwt-comet in chrome and IE 9

I'm using smartgwt and gwt-comet-1.2.3 in my web application and also run the application on apache-tomcat-7.0.25 .

my application works fine in IE 8 and i get all comet messages in it .

But it does'nt work fine in Chrome and IE 9 and it seems that comet messages not recieved .

my question is that does gwt-come support Chrome and IE 9 ?
