Update Jquery on GWT Bootstrap

Hello !

Is it possible to update the jQuery library embedded in gwt bootstrap ?

The current one is 1.7.2 as the most stable one is 1.10.3.

Is it better to update the github repo or to use the last one directly from my project ?

Hello Julien,

I've just updated jQuery to version 1.10.1 in my fork and created a pull request (https://github.com/gwtbootstrap/gwt-bootstrap/pull/395).

So far Bootstrap 2.3.2 seems to work fine with jQuery 1.10.1 but this needs more testing.

Once Carlos has merged this into master you (and everyone else who is willing to test) should install the latest snapshot version locally and test it, please

1. git clone https://github.com/gwtbootstrap/gwt-bootstrap

2. cd gwt-bootstrap

3. mvn install

4. Change gwt-bootstrap version in your project's POM to 2.3.2.0-SNAPSHOT

5. Test :)

The latest snapshot release is in the Sonatype snapshots repository (https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/) so you don't have to install it manually.
