Problem dynamically adding Tab to DropdownTab in TabPanel

I've tried to dynamically add a Tab, with a heading, to an existing DropdownTab which is contained inside a TabPanel. After adding the Tab the provided heading is successfully displayed in the dropdown but clicking on this heading does not cause the associated TabPane to be displayed.

Currently my workaround is to remove the DropdownTab from the TabPanel and re-add it. Would it be worthwhile to file this as a bug?
