[GWSSC] Soccer Saturday @ 3 PM

We have a permit from 3-4 PM, so it is crucial that people show up early so that we can start on time. 1st 14 people will play in the 1st game. Plus, we want to start on time so people have time to play and go to the DC United game. So if you need time to warm up, I would suggest showing up 15 to 20 minutes early. As you know, the permit cost money. So there’s going to be a box for donations. If everyone donates $3.00 to $4.00, then we should cover the cost of the permit. We have covered the past couple of weeks so the donation method is working. Please continue to bring small bills to make things easier. It looks like it’s going to be another awesome weekend for soccer. We are playing rain or shine @ 3 PM sharp.!   On a side note, thanks to everyone who filled out the survey, it was very useful. We had great suggestions. Also, I want to remind everyone to join the Facebook page. You can search for us on FaceBook under "Alexandria FC". For those of you who don't use FaceBook, but still want to be notified, contact me personally and I will work with you regarding an alternative method of contact. Last thing, big thanks to Tony and Greg for everything they have done. They have worked hard to get the permit and set up the FaceBook account, so thanks guys.   Reminders:   When and Where: Saturday 3 PM, George Washington Middle Address: 1005 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria Virginia 22301   Reminders: * All skill levels allowed, CO-ED * $3.00 - $4.00 donation, 1st 14 people play in the 1st game. * Pick-up soccer * It's a friendly game = small goals (cones), no slide tackling w/ liberal out of bounds * Please bring one dark and one white shirt (no grey) * Shin guards are recommended, but not required * Rear Field  * Bring water Metro: Braddock Road on the Blue and Yellow line, then you have to walk a few blocks to the field. You can see the fields from the metro platform
