THANKS TO ALL WHO ATTENDED LAST WEEK'S PTA MEETING

We had informative discussions about TAG resources and counseling activities. We also discussed Principal Jesse Mazur's desire to engage parents in a discussion about improving the format of parent/teacher conferences. This will be a topic of the next Principal's Coffee December 5 at 7:15 am in the Library. Meanwhile, he wants parents to know that you are always welcome to meet with your student's teachers, grade level principals or counselors. Please contact them any time to set up a meeting!

BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSALE TO BENEFIT GW

Start making your holiday gift list of books, movies, music, games, and gifts. A percentage of all purchases made in the Potomac Yards Barnes and Noble store on December 12, or on-line from December 12-16, will go to the GW PTA. More information to follow, but in the meantime, if you and/or your middle schooler would like to volunteer for an hour between 4-9 on December 12 to help gift-wrap for tips to benefit the PTA, please email Suzanne Doggett at gm...@aol.com.

ORIENTATION TONIGHT FOR T.C. WILLIAMS CLASS OF 2019
T.C. Williams invites all rising ninth-grade students and their parents to an Orientation Night from 6-7:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at the main campus, 3330 King St. Please join us and learn about all that T.C. Williams has to offer! Participants can meet counselors, take a school tour and learn about graduation requirements, advanced level courses, Career and Technical Education, student supports, clubs and organizations and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math programs.
