HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE NEEDS YOU THIS THURSDAY TO HELP PROVIDE DINNER FOR OUR TEACHERS! We need volunteers from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m Thursday October 23rd.This is one of the biggest events Hospitality provides, and we can't do it without the support of our parents. Thank you to all those who have donated food and drink. Our greatest need right now is help setting up, serving and cleaning up after this event.

Remember - for the entire month of October, any time you shop or dine at the Curious Grape in Shirlington and let them know you are there to support GW, 15% of your bill goes back to the PTA. The wine tasting events are all through now. A HUGE thank you to all of you who supported this FUNdraiser! It was a great chance for parents to get together, catch up and have some fun. Thanks for your support and keep shopping!

CABOOSE CAFE FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT GW's BAND PROGRAM
This Wednesday October 22nd, Caboose Cafe in Del Ray will donate 10% of the entire day's proceeds to GW's band program. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Please stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner (or all three). Caboose Cafe is located at 2419 Mt. Vernon Avenue at the corner of Mt. Vernon and E. Uhler. 8TH GRADERS - DON'T FORGET SWIM/DIVE TEAM SESSION
You can be a part of the T.C. Williams Swim and Dive Team this year, and train with the best athletes in Alexandria. Coach O'Connor will host an information session on how to join up on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 3:15 pm in the GWMS gym.
