CLASSROOMS NEED SUPPLIES

We have heard that the cold and flu season is depleting classroom supplies of tissues and sanitizing wipes. Any quantity you can send in would be appreciated.

CHANGES COMING FOR MATH SOL - 6th GRADE

VA Department of Education has announced changes to the 6th grade math SOL, mostly impacting the way students take the test. The Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) will be piloted this Spring with the potential of expanding beyond this population and subject. Mr Mazur is organizing a February meeting to inform parents about the changes and what the school is doing to help students prepare. The Crier will share that date as soon as it is available.
