You must sign up for the new Google Group to continue receiving information from the PTA, including the GW Town Crier. COURSE SELECTION AND ELECTIVES FAIR WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, 1/28

Note the new date (moved due to added School Board meeting) Time to plan for next year! Details from Stephanie Smith, Director of Counseling:  "The 6pm session is a run-down of details regarding course registration. Counselors, the TAG teacher, Academic Principals for each grade and Mr. Mazur will all be there. All are welcome, as options for all grade levels with be shared." From 6:30 - 7:30, parents and students may walk through to meet with representatives from all core subjects and electives and find out about specific offerings for next year.

DINE OUT AND SUPPORT THE GW BAND

Fundraising Restaurant Night at Los Tios on Wednesday, January 14. Los Tios Restaurant in Del Ray will donate 10% of its profits earned from 4-9 PM to the GW Band Boosters. That could be a huge boost towards purchasing more instruments and uniforms. It could also be an evening of good Mexican food, lively company, and maybe a sneak appearance by a few middle school musicians. Please come out and dine next Wednesday. Let's fill the place!

NATIONAL HISTORY DAY IS COMING

Judging will take place during school on February 3-4. Judges are still needed! If interested, please contact TAG Resource Teacher Jennifer Podgorski at jennifer....@acps.k12.va.us. Feeling confused or looking for more info? Information has been posted on Blackboard under your child's Social Studies class, and will also be posted on the main GW website by the end of today.

TC STEM PROGRAM ORIENTATION DATE CHANGE!

Rising 8th graders interested in joining the STEM Academy at T.C.
