Thank you so much for returning my call last Friday 1/3. I really appreciate you helping me understand this more clearly and absolutely understand how crazy busy we are during the holiday season.
Per our conversation, we do not have an official HRC Facebook account. Currently, there has been no Facebook or social media activities since the HRC at a previous board meeting decided to suspend any social media activities until a Communications Plan was developed and approved. Once the Communications Plan has been approved in collaboration with the County’s Communications Dept. (we’ll be working with Shaunieka Taste) we can then move forward. So right now, it is my understanding that the current Facebook account is your personal and individual account. Previously, other HRC members (working with you on the PR Committee) have had to “friend” you in order to participate.
Therefore since the County has a “NO” policy on using social media. I’m happy to learn that we do not have an official HRC social media account of any kind and therefore it is not necessary for me to require any type of access as previously requested. I apologize for any confusion and misunderstanding. I’m glad we talked about this over the phone and your other ideas. I’m excited and look forward to working with you and the PR Committee to promote the HRC and its activities.

I’m been trying to reach you for several weeks and would really appreciate you responding to my email or voicemail messages. There are now 2 things I would like to talk with you about:
1. HRC Facebook – I’ve made numerous attempts requesting that you share the account’s username and password information with me and HRC. I don’t understand why you have not provided this information to date?
2. History Project – Please copy me on any future communications whenever you contact any BOC and County leadership. As your HRC Coordinator, I need to be kept in the loop. This is part of my responsibility as the Staff Liaison to the County’s Administrator, BOC and County’s Leadership. I mention this because it was been brought to my attention today that you made a request to Chair Nash directly requesting to interview her for the History Project. I think it’s great that she is willing to do it in support of the HRC but these types of requests should be made through me moving forward.
I look forward to working with you and everyone on the board this year. This morning, I left another voicemail at 404.494.0392 requesting a return call and could not leave a message at 917.880.2787 because the voicemail is full. Please let me know if I’m calling the right phone numbers? If not, please provide a new number so I can update our HRC directory. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
