A booth request was submitted on 4/8 by Donald Sequeira on behalf of the HRC. Attached is a copy of the request and event flyer with details. I’m coordinating those efforts with Officer Rooks with the Gwinnett County Police Dept. Volunteer Gwinnett and the HRC will be sharing a booth/table. So far, Donald and I are the only ones who have confirmed to be participating. Please let us know how many hours you can participate by next Wednesday 4/23?
Our table will display program brochures, pamphlets and any promotional materials (i.e. key chains & pens etc.). Also we’ll have the Volunteer Gwinnett banner display and table cloth so that our table has a nice professional appearance. Right now waiting to hear from Officer Rooks on where our table will be located onsite once people arrive on the date of the event and I will share that information as soon as I can when received.

Sorry for any confusion caused, I don’t mind making other arrangements to have a separate table to promote Volunteer Gwinnett. However, when Donald and I spoke briefly about this last week, we thought it made sense since all our work is volunteer driven. The difference between our County volunteers through Volunteer Gwinnett and the individuals who serve on our Boards and Authorities like HRC is that they are also volunteers who are appointed by the BOC. The County recognizes all of these individuals, appointed or not, as its volunteers and appreciates their time, talents and commitment.
