copy layers/divs to other projects

Hi, I just created a menu in a web page in gwd and I realised that the type of project does not have pages in it. I'd like to be able to cut my menu group with all of the buttons and fly out menus inside and then paste it into a new project.

Flash used to have this as import from external library.

Can this be done?

alternatively is it possible to convert an html project to an html project with pages?

Currently, GWD does not support copy/cut/paste cross multiple documents and also it's impossible to convert an html project to an html project with pages .  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Also, to add to what Jason mentioned, we do have this (copy/paste across documents) filed as a feature request and is something we're working on this year.

I've worked on 3 different banners, now the client wanted them merged. No way to do it without this feature!

Hello I saw that you were working on that 2016 and said it will be as a feature in the new release since it is 2018 I am sure you guys sorted that out! But I could not find that feature:/ will appriciate your help quite lot.

Copy & paste is supported:

Open 2 files, select layers in one doc and copy (Cmd-C) then view your other doc and paste (Cmd-V).

You should see those layers added to your doc.
