When I open GWD I can't get a whole view of it.Is there a way to resize it?
My screen is 1366x768.

At the bottom, next to the Page tab, you can find Zoom option. View area can be modified using this.

Same problem here on Fedora 20. That's not a "View area" issue, it's about GWD tools and page tabs that are unreachable so the software itself results unusable.

Also there is not the "Maximize" button, obviously :)

Thanks for reporting the issue. We are aware this issue on Linux. We're looking at fixing this problem to accommodate smaller screens while keeping our app functional. Please stay tuned!
