Hi all,

I have built out a few custom CSS Events that when you mouseover an object, it changes colors and adds borders, etc. This works flawlessly on one of my ads, but when copying the object into another ad, the events no longer register. When I rebuilt the events out, only one of the two interactions works, even though they follow the same structure as the other ad. For this, I have two questions:

1) Is there a way to copy and paste my assets over to other ad sizes (IE: 300x250 to 160x600) and keep the events working between the versions without having to rebuild them?
2) Is there a particular reason why rebuilt events wouldn't operate correctly, even after I have confirmed that the CSS is typed correctly in the Events menu?

Thanks all,
JB

Hi JB,

Copy an element does not copy the events on it. The workaround is to group the element with the events, copy and paste the group to the second document, then break apart. You can group and break apart using the element's context menu. Please try that and let me know if it works for you.

Hope it helps.

Hey San,

I've done that - and the events that I copied from one ad to another break - only some of them work and others do not, causing the interaction having to be built out from scratch again.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

Can you zip your complete layouts, post to google drive, share a link and I'll take a look.
Please indicate which ad is the working source and which is the broken resized.
