Hey guys, we are getting a new error code that says "Your creative is not SSL-compliant". i'm working in GWD.

Can I get a good explanation about the new ssl requirements? I've tried, simply, adding the "s" to the clickTag URL but it's still not compliant.

I've attached the working files. Thanks in

Hi David,

I have tried uploading your file to Studio and I saw the following SSL compliant warning like the following:

The problem seems to be that the web fonts URL is not using https. I also found that in your file is that there is a clickTag script. The ClickTag script is not needed if the creative is created using GWD. So I have fixed the web fonts URL issue and also removed the ClickTag script from your file.

Would you please take a look at the attached file and try publish to Studio again?

Thanks,

Emily (GWD Team)

oh, I see. I didn't thoroughly read your e-mail. So the FONT wasn't using https. That's interesting.
About the "clickTag script", can you help me identify it? Can you send me a screen cap of what you mean. Was there extra code? The main reason I need clarification, it's not to be difficult, lol, but because there's one other person doing the resizes and I need to show them what to look for in our files. It only sounds vague to me because I see script with id's referencing "tap area" but don't see one called "clickTag". Thanks!

As for the warning. After the file was published, compressed and uploaded we received a different warning. I attached it but I don't think it matters because you say you resolved it.

Wait, I see what you mean. there IS extra code in there. I don't see it on my end because I had already resolved this After I sent it to you. So I only found it on the copy I attached in my original post. It's this stuff right?

<script type="text/javascript">
    var clickTag = "http:<script type="
    text / javascript ">
var clickTag = "
    http: //www.google.com";
  </script>

Alright well, I will update the resizes for this creative and send them to the account team. I will get back to you guys with the results. Thanks a bunch.

That extra ClickTag code is not needed for GWD creatives. I think those are probably for Flash Ad.

For HTML5 banner file, you just need to use the Exit URL Event for the Tap Area.

I have also tried uploading the fixed version to DCM and I don't see the SSL message anymore:

Please let us know if you still have problem.

Thanks,
Emily (GWD Team)

I want you guys to know that it is now compliant. I'm not sure where that extra bit of code came from, maybe I was experimenting with something when I first started using the program. As for the font being set to https, that should be included in articles relating to banners being ssl compliant. Thank you all for your help.
